Residential Care Services
Dignity
provides residential and day time services for people with learning difficulties in and around Chichester, West Sussex in the UK. We have a range of different projects which provide support, opportunities, guidance, help and understanding for people with a range of different needs. We provide this through a network of Support Staff who are supervised by qualified social work practitioners. We work within the principles of Social Role Valorization (SRV) and ordinary living principles. We believe that everyone is entitled to an ordinary life experience and work towards providing that for devalued people.

Community Based Residential and Day Time Services

supports the work of Values Into Action. If you follow this link, you will discover more about people with learning disabilities, the work of VIA and how they are trying to make a real difference in people's lives.

Real Independent Living
Moving on from residential care can be a daunting process. The dream of independent living became a reality recently for Rob, who secured his own tenancy in Chichester. He still has some sup
port from us, but after all the years of being in and around Chichester, has lots of friends who he can call on for help if he needs it. "Having seen others try to live on their own I knew how to make sure I didn't fail." said Rob. "I was really excited and felt confident about making it successful." "It was a challenge to balance support with acceptable risk taking so that Rob could learn for himself." Andrea Clarke, Managing Director explained, "but since he moved in, it has been a great success."
